The Mother Lode Project has been running for just over a month and consists of a group of 10 participants, ranging in age from 19 - 54, with children aged from just 6 months to 30+. We are approximately half-way through the first phase of the project, and already the group feels strong and supportive, with many participants offering advice & support when others are feeling vulnerable.

The mother lode project
The aim of this project is to extract the gold from challenging experiences of motherhood by giving opportunities for artists who are mothers to work with mothers who may be experiencing mental health difficulties as a result of motherhood.
